We boast an extremely efficient supply chain however very rarely an order may be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances. We stress that this is extremely unusual and generally only adds a day to the delivery time. We thank you for your patience in these events.

Please note that office hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 5pm or during the weekend will be processed at the first possible opportunity on the next working day. Please take this into consideration when counting days until delivery.

Our couriers deliver between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Please ensure your delivery address is manned during these times or that we have instructions on where the product can be left. The driver cannot phone to give advanced warning and it is essential we have the correct delivery address and postcode.

Dangerous Goods

Caustic Soda is classed as dangerous or hazardous for the purpose of transport. Special care must be taken with these products to ensure the safety of any individual who may come in contact with them. We employ ADR qualified drivers meaning that they are specially trained in the safe and correct handling of dangerous goods. These drivers are more expensive than a standard courier. We appreciate that this is a significant price increase but insist that it necessary for the safety of our staff, drivers and customers. Were it not for this many of our most effective products would not be available.

To avoid overpaying we recommend that you place orders in as large a quantity as possible if you plan on returning frequently. This prevents the need for frequent expensive shipments and allows you to take advantage of the quantity discounts available on most of our products. Overall this provides the best value for money to our customers in the long term.

All dangerous good require a signature at the point of delivery. If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available to sign for it they will not deliver. They will attempt a second delivery the next day and you will be charged an additional £8.99 redelivery charge.

You will be notified by Email when goods are dispatched. Please ensure that there is someone available in the days following receipt of this email to accept the goods in order to avoid any delays and unnecessary charges. For your convenience we are happy do deliver to a location other than the billing address eg. your place of work or a 3rd party location where you know someone will be available.

You will have opportunity to leave delivery instructions at the checkout. Please ensure you have left any necessary details

Unless instructed otherwise our drivers may accept signatures from any inhabitant/staff member of the delivery address. Our drivers have no way of distinguishing between authorized and unauthorized inhabitants. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure their premises is inaccessible to anyone not authorized to accept delivery. If an item is for the attention of a specific person please state this prior to the orders dispatch. Packages may however be left with a neighbour for your convenience. If this is inappropriate please bring this to our attention prior to dispatch.

If the premises is unmanned at the point of delivery the driver will not leave packages unattended unless instructed to do so prior to dispatch. Artemis are not responsible for losses caused by poor storage conditions, insufficient security, unauthorized access, etc, to the requested delivery location after the point of delivery so long as the goods have been delivered in accordance with buyer instruction. After 2 failed deliveries goods are returned to our suppliers' warehouse in accordance with the delivery company's policy. We reserve the right to charge you for the reasonable cost of re-dispatch.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Please check any received items immediately upon receipt of the delivery. If you have received your item from Artemis and found it damaged or not to be as ordered you must inform us by telephone on 0141 429 2525. In this case you may return it to Artemis within 14 days of the date of delivery. The item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials intact. Items meeting these requirements returned within 14 days will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to refuse refunds if products are received not in accordance with these requirements.

In accordance with distance trading regulations we will accept returns for any reason so long as it is reported within 7 days of delivery.

If the product is correct, intact or otherwise exactly as ordered (for example if the buyer ordered the wrong product) we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of uplift. We may also charge a restocking fee for particularly large orders of 20 litres or more based on total order volume not the size of the individual containers. 4 x 5 litre containers are subject to a restocking charge as is 2 x 10 litres etc.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you for our reasonable cost if the product is received not in accordance with these requirements.
